| Property / summary: Hlavným ciežom projektu je zefektívni fungovanie VÚC a zvýi schopnos Slovenska presadzova svoje záujmy v EÚ cez adresnejie bilaterálne, regionálne a multilaterálne aktivity VÚC v európskej politike. Regióny môu vstupova do rozhodovacieho procesu v EÚ, kde dokáu reprezentova záujmy svojich obyvatežov a tak zvyova váhu Slovenska ako celku. Slovenské VÚC vak svoje zahraničné aktivity (paradiplomacia) vyuívajú iba obmedzene, aj z dôvodu vlastných kapacitných obmedzení vypracova potrebné stratégie, čo riei práve predkladaný projekt.Hlavný ciež projektu dosiahneme prostredníctvom nasledujúcich čiastkových ciežov:Identifikácia a analýza európskych aktivít vybraných VÚC - Trnavský samosprávny kraj (TTSK) a Preovský samosprávny kraj (PSK) - prostredníctvom auditu ich bilaterálnych, regionálnych a multilaterálnych činností, mapovania ich moností;Porovnanie aktivít vybraných VÚC ako aj ich aktivít s vybranými zahraničnými územnými jednotkami na základe výsledkov auditu a mapovania v prvej fáze projektu;Identifikácia slabých miest v európskej agende TTSK a PSK a príprava podrobnej stratégie rozvoja európskej agendy TTSK a PSK a príprava rámcového projektového plánu pre zefektívnenie európskych aktivít vetkých VÚC na Slovensku.Aktivity projektu sú zamerané najmä na analýzu a prípravu stratégie a projektového plánu. V prvej fáze projektu to je audit činností TTSK a PSK od ich vzniku v roku 2001 do roku 2019; mapovanie ich moností prostredníctvom analýzy primárnych a sekundárnych zdrojov a na základe tudijnej cesty do Bruselu. V druhej fáze projektu sú aktivity zamerané na komparatívnu analýzu vybraných VÚC a následne ich porovnanie s vybranou českou a požskou regionálnou územnou jednotkou (kraj, vojvodstvo). Tretia fáza projektu zahŕňa aktivity zamerané na finalizáciu analýzy a prípravu podrobnej stratégie a projektového plánu a aktivity zamerané na predstavenie stratégie v prísluných VÚC a plánu v Bratislave a Bruseli. | Property / summary: The main objective of the project is to streamline the operation of the VÚC and to increase Slovakia’s ability to promote its interests in the EU by addressing bilateral, regional and multilateral activities of the VÚC in European politics. Regions can enter the decision-making process in the EU, where they can represent the interests of their inhabitants and thus increase the weight of Slovakia as a whole. However, the Slovak VÚC will use their foreign activities (paradiplomacia) only in a limited way, also due to their own capacity constraints, to develop the necessary strategies, which the project is being submitted to.The main objective of the project will be achieved through the following sub- ciežov:Identifikácia and an analysis of the European activities selected by the VÚC – Trnava Self-governing Region (TTSK) and the Preovský Self-governing Region (PSK) – through the audit of their bilateral, regional and multilateral activities, and the mapping of the projects selected by the VÚC and their activities with selected foreign territorial units on the basis of the results of the audit and the mapping of the projects in the first phase of the project and the preparation of the programme of the European TCTS and the preparation of the programme of the European TCTS; In the first phase of the project, this is an audit of TTSK and PSK activities from their inception in 2001 to 2019; mapping their possibilities through the analysis of primary and secondary sources and on the basis of a study trip to Brussels. In the second phase of the project, the activities are focused on comparative analysis of selected VÚC and then their comparison with the selected Czech and Polish regional territorial unit (region, voivodeship). The third phase of the project includes activities aimed at finalising the analysis and preparing a detailed strategy and project plan, and activities aimed at presenting the strategy in the relevant VÚC and the plan in Bratislava and Brussels.
