Investitia propusa se incadreaza in obiectivul tematic urmarit in cadrul Programului Operational Regional 2014-2020, Axa Prioritară 13 - Sprijinirea regenerării orașelor mici și mijlocii, Prioritatea de investiții 9b - Oferirea de sprijin pentru revitalizarea fizică, economică și socială a comunităților defavorizate din regiunile urbane și rurale, Obiectivul Specific 13.1 - Îmbunătăţirea calităţii vieţii populaţiei în oraşele mici şi mijlocii din România. Obiectivul general al proiectului consta in imbunatatirea calitatii vietii populatiei din Municipiul Brad in general si in special a populatiei tinere prin dezvoltarea municipiului drept centru cultural zonal atractiv si accesibil cu capacitate de mentinere si implicare comunitara a tinerilor din toate comunitatile si grupurile sociale, inclusiv a celor defavorizate (aflate in situatii de saracie) si marginalizate (din comunitatile rome din municipiu si comunele inconjuratoare) si cu atractivitate turistica ridicata, cu potential de crearea a noi locuri de munca in acest sector. Municipiul Brad este un fost oras minier aflat in declin industrial accentuat dupa anul 2006, afectat de scaderea semnificativa a populatiei si in special a populatiei tinere (tineri sub 18 ani) datorita atractivitatii reduse a orasului si calitatii scazute a vietii urbane, dar care prezinta un potential bogat cultural si turistic insuficient valorificat, datorita spatiilor insuficiente, inadecvate si insuficient accesibile pentru desfasurarea de activitati culturale si sociale / comunitare. De asemenea, prezenta cerere de finantare este in concordanta cu obiectivul general al Programului Operational Regional 2014-2020, de crestere a competitivitatii economice si imbunatatire a conditiilor de viata ale comunitatilor locale si regionale, prin sprijinirea dezvoltarii mediului de afaceri, a conditiilor infrastructurale si serviciilor care sa asigure si dezvoltarea sustenabila a regiunilor, capabile sa gestioneze in mod eficient resursele, sa valorifice potentialul lor de inovare si asimilare a progresului tehnologic. The proposed investment falls within the thematic objective pursued under the Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020, Priority Axis 13 – Supporting the regeneration of small and medium-sized cities, Investment Priority 9b – Providing support for physical, economic and social revitalisation of disadvantaged communities in urban and rural regions, Specific Objective 13.1 – Improving the quality of life of the population in small and medium-sized cities in Romania. The general objective of the project is to improve the quality of life of the population in Brad in general and especially the young population by developing the municipality as an attractive and accessible cultural center with the capacity to maintain and community involvement of young people from all communities and social groups, including those disadvantaged (in poverty situations) and marginalised (from Roma communities in the municipality and surrounding communes) and with high tourist attractiveness, with the potential to create new jobs in this sector. Brad Municipality is a former mining city in sharp industrial decline after 2006, affected by the significant decline of the population and especially of the young population (young people under 18) due to the low attractiveness of the city and the low quality of urban life, but which has a rich cultural and touristic potential insufficiently exploited, due to insufficient, inadequate and insufficiently accessible spaces for cultural and social/community activities. Also, this financing application is consistent with the general objective of the Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020, to increase economic competitiveness and improve the living conditions of local and regional communities, by supporting the development of the business environment, infrastructure and services conditions that ensure and the sustainable development of regions, capable of efficiently managing resources, capitalising on their potential for innovation and assimilation of technological progress.
