(Romanian)

The scientific objective of the project is to obtain knowledge, in the form of conceptual models, regarding new high-efficiency technical systems for the separation and purification of valuable products from bio-resources. The project aims to exploit the synergy between physical and chemical phenomena occurring in multiphase biotechnology systems, where valuable products are obtained through biochemical reactions or isolated from natural resources. The expected results are generic in nature and are applicable in other areas where separation and purification play an important role, such as food processing, (bio)pharmaceuticals, biofuels, etc. (English)
