General objective: Increasing the degree of participation in the education and employability process of ULBS students from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Food Industry and Environmental Protection (S.A.I.A.P.M.), through investments in educational infrastructure and development of research and innovation capacity in the field of agro-food in order to acquire cross-disciplinary competences in accordance with their professional aspirations and labour market needs, in relation to national policies in the field (in particular the National Strategy for Third Education 2015-2020, SNC and SNCDI 2014-2020) and in the context of Priority Axis 10.1, POR 10.1, Priority of investment. In order to compete on the world market, Romania, along with the other Member States, must be smarter and promote sustainable and adaptable industries to change. Romania is committed to developing third-party education as an important tool in the overall socio-economic development strategy, supporting all other state development plans and initiatives, in particular, the National Reform Programme, the National Strategy for Competitiveness 2014-2020 and the Research-Development-Innovation Strategy. The level of development of a company is largely determined by the performance of its education system, the level of education of the citizens. Education is the most effective means for a society to respond to the challenge of the future. The level of education is a key factor in national development, as it largely determines economic activity and productivity, as well as labour mobility, creating the long-term prerequisites for the existence of a higher standard of living and quality of life. Given the negative demographic trends, the educational profile of the population is an essential condition for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth. This cannot be achieved without adequate/corresponding infrastructure. Educational infrastructure is essential for building social skills, developing professional skills and capacity for socio-professional integration. Socio-economic analyses highlight the causal relationship between the level of development of the labour force capabilities and the state of the infrastructure (the existence of adequate spaces and facilities) in which the process of education and training takes place. In line with education policy and the National Strategy for Tertiary Education 2015-2020, investment in infrastructure in higher education from Rusciori will increase ULBs’ ability to anticipate and meet market demands for academic standards and quality, to develop new programs, benefiting from modern technology and equipment to provide students with cross-disciplinary skills. Investments will be made as a priority in areas with growth potential that contribute (English)
