The general objective of the project is to create a spin-off based on a patent and the development of innovative products within the new enterprise, to be launched on the market of nanostructured biomaterials, economic sector with growth potential. The project director, Mrs. Laura Madalina Popescu, is one of the inventors of the patent, is currently employed at the National Institute for Research and Development for Non-ferrous and Rare Metals (INCDMNR – INR) and aims to set up and develop spin-offs through the project. The project proposal falls within field 4. Eco-NANO-TEHNOLOGY AND MATERIAL AVANSATED, sub-areas 4.4.3 Health materials and technologies and 4.4.2 Polymeric materials, nanomaterials, nanotechnologies. The project is relevant in relation to specific objective 1.3 related to POC Action 1.2.1 as it contributes to the increase of private investments in RDI, through the financial contribution of the applicant to the project (10 % of the amount of eligible costs plus ineligible expenditure related to the project). The project is relevant to the objective of Action 1.2.1, as it aims to innovation processes and products in an economic sector that has growth potential (Innovation, technological development and added value – Health and biotechnologies).
