The general objective of the project aims, in conjunction with the needs of the labor market in the economic sectors/areas identified by SNC and SNCDI, to increase the participation in non-university third-party education, as well as the attractiveness, diversification and innovation of educational programs addressed to students/masters, in close connection with the improvement of the transversal competences of the teachers from third-tertiary university and non-university education organised within accredited higher education institutions. The general objective of the project will be achieved through an assessment-integrated approach to the needs of students/students from 7 development regions and who are enrolled at the two universities participating in the project – technical non-university education and third-party education, in order to meet the requirements of the current labour market. In this regard, increasing participation in non-university third-country technical education will be achieved by selecting programs and adapting the quality learning experiences specific to the university college with the needs of the labour market in the economic sectors with competitive potential, respectively in the field of transport engineering, which will be addressed through updated connectivity with European transport policies. Also, by establishing and using an integrated package of educational assistance, individualised professional counselling, exchange of experience and financial support for a number of 40 disadvantaged learners will ensure the improvement of quality, efficiency, access and participation in non-university non-university third-party technical education. In conjunction with the updated improvement of the educational offer from third and non-university education, we will pursue specialised professional improvement by participating 50 teachers (40 third-party university education and 10 technical non-university education) in at least one postgraduate program to increase the teaching skills including practical applications (exchange of experience, good practices). Following the graduation of the postgraduate program, the teaching staff will use the improved skills in the design and teaching of complementary courses piloted within 6 online courses with 300 students (200 requesting university, 100 from the partner university, 60 of which belong to disadvantaged groups). An innovative approach will be achieved by developing partnerships in order to increase the employability of graduates and adaptability to the demands of the labor market, which is centered by the establishment and operationalisation of two Innovation Centres that hold workshops, information sessions and entrepreneurial training, exchange of experience and best practices, both at the level of students/students and at the level of academics.
