The main objective of the project is to increase the attractiveness and transport capacity of cycling transport, through the construction of cycling communication in the city of Čadca (3. Stage). The implementation of the present project will contribute to improving accessibility to civic infrastructure, to interchangeable nodes as well as to accessibility to the industrial zone in the eastern part of the city (PZ I.).The main objective of the project will be achieved by implementing one main activity: Activity 1 Cycling communications – building new cycling communications. Support activities aimed at project management and publicity will be financed by the city from its own resources.The subject of cycling communication starts in connection with the 2nd stage of cycling communication at the crossroads of Kysucká cesta and Andrei Hlinka Street. Cycling communication is in its entire length led along Kysucká cesta (road I/11) and then on road I/11 and right-handed in the route of the existing pedestrian path in the direction of Čadca – Horelica – up to the end of the section, which is on the border of the Horelica cadastre. The whole project is designed as a reconstruction of the existing footpath for pedestrians to a common path for pedestrians and cyclists, while in one place in an unbuilt section this route is guided by the use of cycloridors along road I/11 with a length of 251,23 m. The target group is residents of the town of Čadca. The result of the implementation of the project will be 2,6345 km of built cycling communication (P0043). (English) | |||||||||||||||

Hlavným cieľom projektu je zvýšenie atraktivity a prepravnej kapacity cyklistickej dopravy, prostredníctvom vybudovania cyklistickej komunikácie v meste Čadca (3. Etapa). Realizácia predkladaného projektu prispeje k zlepšeniu dostupnosti k občianskej infraštruktúre, k prestupným uzlom ako aj k dostupnosti do priemyselnej zóny vo východnej časti mesta (PZ I.).Hlavný cieľ projektu dosiahneme realizáciou jednej hlavnej aktivity: Aktivita 1 Cyklistické komunikácie – budovanie nových cyklistických komunikácií. Podporné aktivity zamerané na riadenie projektu a publicitu bude mesto financovať z vlastných zdrojov.Predmetná cyklistická komunikácia začína v napojení na 2. etapu cyklistickej komunikácie v križovatke ulíc Kysucká cesta a ulica Andreja Hlinku. Cyklistická komunikácia je v celej svojej dĺžke vedená po ulici Kysucká cesta (cesta I/11) a následne po ceste I/11 a to pravostranne v trase existujúceho chodníka pre peších v smere Čadca – Horelica – až po koniec úseku, ktorý je na hranici katastra Horelica. Celý projekt je riešený ako rekonštrukcia existujúceho chodníka pre peších na spoločnú cestičku pre chodcov a cyklistov, pričom v jednom mieste v nezastavanom úseku je vedená táto trasa pomocou cyklokoridorov po ceste I/11 v dĺžke 251,23 m.Cieľovou skupinou sú obyvatelia mesta Čadca. Výsledkom realizácie projektu bude 2,6345 km vybudovanej cyklistickej komunikácie (P0043). (Slovak)
