Obiectivul general al proiectului este modernizarea si eficientizarea sistemului de iluminat public stradal din Municipiul Zalau. Pentru atingerea obiectivului general, proiectul propune implementarea unui sistem eficient si ecologic de iluminat public in Municipiul Zalau care va reduce semnificativ consumul de energie din surse neregenerabila dupa implementarea proiectului si va introduce surse regenerabile în consumul necesar iluminatului public.
