Com a presente intervenção pretende-se preservar ao máximo as características dos edifícios existentes, ao mesmo tempo modernizar o espaço escolar e torná-lo mais eficiente e funcional, adaptado a utentes com mobilidade condicionada bem como a crianças com necessidades educativas especiais A EB de Paço dos Negros e JI da mesma localidade, estão ambos integrados no mesmo espaço, pelo que irão ser alvo da mesma requalificação.
