Projekta mērķis ir sešu gadu periodā nodrošināt Jēkabpils pilsētas iedzīvotājiem pieejamus veselības veicināšanas un slimību profilakses pasākumus, kā arī veicināt iedzīvotāju iesaisti tajos, lai veidotu veselīga dzīvesveida paradumus. Projektā tiks īstenoti veselības veicināšanas pasākumi, kas ietver fizisko aktivitāšu veicināšanas, kompleksus un izglītojošus pasākumus par tādām tēmām kā fiziskā aktivitāte, veselīgs uzturs, garīgā veselība, kā arī seksuālā un reproduktīvā veselība. Rezultātā pirmajā posmā plānots īstenot 23 dažādus veidu veselības veicināšanas un slimību profilakses pasākumus, kā arī 3 veidu slimību profilakses pasākumi - onkoloģisko, sirds slimību un garīgo slimību profilaksei. Savukārt otrajā posmā plānoti Eiropas Savienības fondu ietvaros īstenoti veselības veicināšanas un slimību profilakses pasākumi. Kā viena no projekta aktivitātēm ir plānota arī Jēkabpils skolu iesaiste Nacionālajā veselīgo skolu tīklā. Projekts tiks īstenots 78 mēnešus, no 2017.gada 19.aprīļa līdz 2023.gada 31.oktobrim. Projekta kopējās izmaksas abos periodos ir 423 772,00 euro, tajā skaitā 360 206,20 euro ir Eiropas Sociālā Fonda finansējums. (Latvian)

The aim of the project is to provide residents of Jēkabpils city with access to health promotion and disease prevention measures during a six-year period, as well as to promote the involvement of residents in them in order to develop healthy lifestyle habits. The project will implement health promotion activities, which include physical activity promotion, complex and educational activities on such topics as physical activity, healthy diet, mental health, as well as sexual and reproductive health. As a result, in the first stage it is planned to implement 23 different types of health promotion and disease prevention measures, as well as 3 types of disease prevention measures – prevention of oncology, heart disease and mental illnesses. In the second stage, health promotion and disease prevention measures are planned within the framework of European Union funds. The involvement of Jēkabpils schools in the National Network of Healthy Schools is also planned as one of the project activities. The project will be implemented for 78 months, from 19 April 2017 until 31 October 2023. The total cost of the project in both periods is EUR 423772,00, including EUR 360206,20 is the funding of the European Social Fund. (English)
