    Projekta mērķis ir paaugstināt SIA iCotton konkurētspēju Eiropas un NVS valstu tirgū uzstādot jaunu eksperimentālu tehnoloģiju īpaši plānu autiņbiksīšu un citu higiēnas produktu ražošanai (xcore produkti). Projekta ietvaros uzņēmums plāno izmantot savus un sava partner-uzņēmuma “Cotton Club” P&A procesos iegūtos rezultātus, lai izveidotu inovatīvu tehnoloģisko procesu un produktu ar augstu konkurētspēju.Projekta ietvaros plānots SIA iCotton ražotnē uzstādīt eksperimentālo tehnoloģiju - carded un spunlace neaustā auduma ražošanas iekārtās higiēnas produktu ražošanai. Aktivitātes, kas vērstas uz iecerēto eksperimentālo iekārtu veidošanu atbilst RIS3 viedās specializācijas jomai “Viedie materiāli, tehnoloģijas un inženiersistēmas”.Jaunais produkts – autiņbiksītes, higiēnas paketes un citi higiēnas produkti (xCore) – ir izveidots no vairāku materiālu slāņiem ar augstu absorbcijas spēju saglabājot īpašu plānumu. Šāda produkta iegūšana iespējama izmantojot jaunākās materiālu inženierijas metodes un attiecīgi ir saistāma RIS3 viedās specializācijas jomu “Viedie materiāli, tehnoloģijas un inženiersistēmas”.Projekta kopējās izmaksas plānotas 11 480 000 EUR, t.sk. ERAF atbalsts 3 999 632,00 EUR.Projekta ilgums plānots 48 mēneši. (Latvian)

    The aim of the project is to increase the competitiveness of iCotton Ltd. in the European and CIS countries market by installing a new experimental technology especially for the production of diapers and other hygiene products (xcore products). Within the framework of the project, the company intends to use its own and its partner company “Cotton Club” P&The results obtained in A processes to create innovative technological process and product with high competitiveness are planned to be installed in iCotton Ltd. production unit of experimental technology – carded and spunlace in nonwoven fabric manufacturing equipment for production of hygiene products. Activities aimed at the development of the planned experimental equipment correspond to the RIS3 smart specialisation “Smart Materials, Technologies and Engineering Systems”.The new product – diapers, hygiene packages and other hygiene products (xCore) – has been created from layers of several materials with high absorption capacity while maintaining a special plan. Acquisition of such a product is possible using the latest material engineering methods and consequently the RIS3 smart specialisation field “Smart Materials, Technologies and Engineering Systems” is connected.The total project costs are estimated at EUR 11480000, incl. ERDF support EUR 3999632,00.The duration of the project is planned to be 48 months. (English)
