Suurenevad võimalused Eesti meretehnoloogia ja hüdrodünaamikaga seotud teadusvaldkondade konkurentsivõime tõstmiseks ja rahvusvahelises koostööks. Tagatakse taristule ligipääs partneritele, sh ettevõtetele. Täiustatakse katsebasseini tehnoloogiat. Uuendatakse laborite sisseseadet. Loodud on nutika disaini ehk virtuaalprojekteerimise keskus.
