Eesti keele aasta 2019 raames luuakse ainetevaheliseks lõiminguks (eesti keel, ajalugu, kirjandus, loodusõpetus) sobiv õpikeskkond, mis mõjutab väärtushinnanguid ja käitumist läbi Kalevipoja kujundi. Toimub eesti keele õpe kodumaa tundma õppimiseks läbi müütide ning legendide, mis on seotud Kreutzwaldi eeposega „Kalevipoeg“. Õpilased hakkavad väärtustama oma kultuuri, omandavad IT vahendite kasutamise. Õpilaste sõnavara on rikkam ja keelekasutus vabam, mis lihtsustab keeleõpet kümblusklassis. (Estonian)
