The aim of the project is to promote healthy lifestyle and physical activity of Saldus region by implementing various health promotion and disease prevention measures. The target group of the project is all inhabitants of Saldus region, especially those at risk of territorial, poverty and social exclusion – people living in territory outside the city with population density below 50 inhabitants per km², the poor and the low-income, the unemployed, persons with disabilities, people over the age of 54 and children.The project will be managed and implemented by Saldus Municipality. Within the framework of the project various target group interests are planned according to health promotion and disease prevention measures – interactive classes, lectures, support groups, camps, physical activity classes, Health days and other events will be organised in the territory of the whole region, they are aimed at changing lifestyle habits of inhabitants, raising awareness and taking greater responsibility for their health. Information and publicity measures will be provided. The project will run from 2017 to 2023. As a result of the project, from 2017 to April 2020, 8 disease prevention measures and 7 health promotion packages were organised, the activities will involve 4281 inhabitants of Saldus region at risk of territorial, poverty and social exclusion. As a result of the project from January 2020 to December 2023 it is planned to implement 1017 health promotion and disease prevention measures according to section 1.6.1. Projekta mērķis – veicināt Saldus novada iedzīvotāju veselīgu dzīvesveidu un fizisko aktivitāti, īstenojot dažādus veselības veicināšanas un slimību profilakses pasākumus. Projekta mērķa grupa ir visi Saldus novada iedzīvotāji, jo īpaši teritoriālās, nabadzības un sociālās atstumtības riskam pakļautās iedzīvotāju grupas - iedzīvotāji, kuri dzīvo teritorijā ārpus pilsētas ar iedzīvotāju blīvumu zem 50 iedzīvotājiem uz km2 , trūcīgie un maznodrošinātie iedzīvotāji, bezdarbnieki, personas ar invaliditāti, iedzīvotāji, kas vecāki par 54 gadiem un bērni.Projekta vadību un īstenošanu nodrošinās Saldus novada pašvaldība. Projekta ietvaros plānoti dažādi, mērķa grupu interesēm atbilstoši veselību veicināšanas un slimību profilakses pasākumi – interaktīvas nodarbības, lekcijas, atbalsta grupas, nometnes, fizisko aktivitāšu nodarbības, Veselības dienas un citi pasākumi tiks organizēti visa novada teritorijā, tie vērsti uz iedzīvotāju dzīvesveida paradumu maiņu, informētības uzlabošanu un lielākas atbildības uzņemšanos par savu veselību. Tiks nodrošināti informācijas un publicitātes pasākumi. Projekts ilgs no 2017. gada līdz 2023. gadam. Projekta rezultātā no 2017.gada līdz 2020. gada aprīlim noorganizēti 8 slimību profilakses pasākumi un 7 veselību veicināšanas pasākumu kompleksi, pasākumos iesaistīs 4281 teritoriālās, nabadzības un sociālās atstumtības riskam pakļautos Saldus novada iedzīvotājus. Savukārt, projekta rezultātā no 2020.gada janvāra līdz 2023. gada decembrim plānots īstenot 1017 veselības veicināšanas un slimību profilakses pasākumus saskaņā ar sadaļā 1.6.1. norādīto.Projekta kopējās izmaksas: EUR 501 644 (85% ESF finansējums, 15% Valsts budžeta finansējums).
