The company produces, transmits and distributes all thermal energy produced by Rezekne city district heating system, which is necessary for existing consumers of thermal energy. Most of it is used for heating and hot water in public buildings and dwellings. Taking into account the current technical condition of district heating system, construction time and depreciation, the company is investing in modernisation of thermal energy production process and improvement of technical condition and efficiency of the transmission system.With the support of the Cohesion Fund it is planned to implement the project “Increasing efficiency of Rezekne City Northern District boiler house by replacing fossil fuel heat source with heat source using renewable energy resources”. To promote efficiency of production and use of local renewable energy resources in the district heating system of Rezekne city Northern District by increasing heat capacity, modernising the production process and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Woodchip boiler house construction design, construction works, installation of equipment, author supervision and construction supervision, project management and supervision.Project planned results: Modernisation of the northern district boiler house by replacing fossil fuel heat source with 2.9 MW capacity with heat source using renewable energy resources – two woodchip boilers with 3 MW capacity of each boiler.The project duration is 26 months, total project costs are EUR 4590629.57. Uzņēmums ražo, pārvada un sadala visu Rēzeknes pilsētas centralizētās siltumapgādes sistēmā saražoto siltumenerģiju, kas nepieciešama esošajiem siltumenerģijas patērētājiem. Lielākā daļa no tās tiek izmantota publisko ēku un dzīvojamo māju apkurei un karstā ūdens sagatavošanai. Ņemot vērā esošo centralizētās siltumapgādes sistēmas tehnisko stāvokli, būvniecības laiku un nolietojumu, uzņēmums mērķtiecīgi veic ieguldījumus siltumenerģijas ražošanas procesa modernizēšanā un pārvades sistēmas tehniskā stāvokļa un efektivitātes uzlabošanā.Ar Kohēzijas fonda atbalstu plānots īstenot projektu "Rēzeknes pilsētas Ziemeļu rajona katlu mājas efektivitātes paaugstināšana, aizvietojot fosilā kurināmā siltumavotu ar atjaunojamos energoresursus izmantojošu siltumavotu".Projekta mērķis: veicināt ražošanas efektivitāti un vietējo atjaunojamo energoresursu izmantošanu Rēzeknes pilsētas Ziemeļu rajona centralizētajā siltumapgādes sistēmā, veicot siltumjaudu palielināšanu, ražošanas procesa modernizēšanu un siltumnīcefekta gāzu emisiju samazināšanu.Projekta ietvaros tiks veiktas šādas galvenās darbības: šķeldas katlu mājas izbūves projektēšana, būvdarbu veikšana, iekārtu uzstādīšana, autoruzraudzības un būvuzraudzības, projekta vadības un uzraudzības nodrošināšana.Projekta plānotie rezultāti: Ziemeļu rajona katlu mājas modernizēšana, aizvietojot fosilā kurināmā siltumavotu ar 2,9MW jaudu ar atjaunojamos energoresursus izmantojošu siltumavotu - diviem šķeldas katliem ar katra katla jaudu 3MW.Projekta īstenošanas ilgums ir 26 mēneši, kopējās projekta izmaksas ir 4 590 629,57 EUR.
