This will improve the energy efficiency of the boiler house and allow the use of lower quality wood chips with higher ash content, as well as other woodfuels – wood chips, wood chips of different origins and qualities (wood processing, logging, fertilisation), bark, wood pellets, wood removals from technological processes and electricity generation. Increasing energy efficiency indicators will allow maintaining competitive heating tariffs in Ludza in the long term.The planned activities within the project:1. Construction of a source of district heating and installation of installations2. Provision of project management and monitoring3. As a result of the project implementation, SIA Ludzas Ludzas Bio-Energy boiler house will install a new boiler with a capacity of 4 MW, in which different types of wood fuel will be used for thermal energy production. The heat generated by the new boiler will partially replace the old woodchip boiler load of KW-6000 (7 MW capacity), which is obsolete and inefficient. The new boiler will operate as a base load. The old pot will be kept to ensure peak loads. — As a result of the project, the efficiency of heat generation will increase from 75 % to 87 %.- At least 1 green jobs will be created.- The amount of thermal energy produced from AER in new plants will be 23211 MWh per year. Total project costs 1 165 333.86 (including VAT), EUR 963085.84 (excluding VAT), including planned Cohesion Fund support EUR 351634.34 (excluding VAT)Project implementation period is planned 24 months.     Projekta mērķis ir SIA Ludzas Ludzas Bio-Enerģija katlu mājas energoefektivitātes uzlabošana, esošo šķeldas katlu daļēji aizvietojot ar modernāku tehnoloģiju - multifunkcionālo katlu. Tas dos uzlabos katlu mājas energoefektivitāti un dos iespēju izmantot zemākas kvalitātes koksnes šķeldu ar augstāku pelnu saturu, kā arī cita veida koksnes kurināmo- koksnes skaidas, dažādas izcelsmes un kvalitātes šķeldu (kokapstrādes, mežizstrādes, apauguma), mizu, koksnes granulas, koksnes atsijas no tehnoloģiskiem procesiem un elektroenerģijas ražošanas. Energoefektivitātes rādītāju paaugstināšana, ļaus ilgtermiņā saglabāt konkurētspējīgus siltumenerģijas tarifus Ludzas pilsētā.Projekta ietvaros plānotās aktivitātes:1. Centralizētās siltumapgādes ražošanas avota būvniecība un iekārtu uzstādīšana2. Projekta vadības un uzraudzības nodrošināšana3. Publicitātes pasākumu nodrošināšana.Projekta īstenošanas rezultātā SIA Ludzas Ludzas Bio-Enerģija katlu mājā tiks uzstādīt jauns katls ar jaudu 4MW, kurā siltumenerģijas ražošanai tiks izmantots dažāda veida koksnes kurināmais. Jaunajā katlā saražotais siltums daļēji aizvietos vecā šķeldas katls KW-6000 (jauda 7MW) slodzi, kurš ir novecojis un darbojas neefektīvi. Jaunais katls darbosies pamatslodzes nodrošināšanai. Vecais katls tiks saglabāts pīķa slodžu nodrošināšanai. - Projekta īstenošanas rezultātā siltuma enerģijas ražošanas efektivitāte paaugstināsies no 75% uz 87%.- Tiks radīta vismaz 1 zaļā darba vieta.- No AER jaunajās iekārtās saražotais siltumenerģijas daudzums 23 211 MWh gadāProjekta īstenošanai plānots noslēgt būvniecības līgumu par Centralizētās siltumapgādes ražošanas avota būvniecību un iekārtu uzstādīšana. Kopējās projekta izmaksas 1 165 333.86 (ar PVN), 963 085.84 EUR (bez PVN), tai skaitā plānotais Kohēzijas fonda atbalsts 351 634.34 EUR (bez PVN)Projekta īstenošanas laiks plānots 24 mēneši.
