The aim of the project is to reduce heat loss in transmission and distribution systems, prevent heat transmission leakages into the heating networks, reduce operating and maintenance costs, as well as improve the hydraulic performance of the heating system by replacing emergency pipelines in reinforced concrete channels with industrially insulated non-canal heat mains. When implementing the reconstruction project, it is planned to optimise the tracks, reduce the diameters of the existing pipes, thus saving heat energy. The project envisages the construction of a new connecting heat main, connecting two stages, as a result of which the heat supply for buildings will be restored: Source street 2. 4. 8. 8a. 10 and Upes Street 2. As a result of the project fuel consumption from the existing 3003 MWh season will be reduced to 2750 MWh per season, as well as electricity consumption from the existing 27,19 MWh season will be reduced to 23.66 MWh.The project is expected to be implemented within 22 months from the date of conclusion of the contract with CFLA for attracting co-funding of the KF. Its total cost could amount to around EUR 336 737, of which the CF co-funding some EUR 111 318. (English)

(Latvian)
