The aim of the project is to carry out energy efficiency measures in the production building at Uzvaras Street 16 – roof insulation in order to promote efficient use of energy resources. The company has carried out a comprehensive energy audit and identified a number of measures that could be taken. These measures include energy efficiency measures and investments in both building envelopes and production technologies. It is a comprehensive plan and a list of recommendations for the whole company. Implementation of all recommendations is financially intensive, therefore the recommendations of the energy audit are planned to be implemented gradually, starting with the priority, which ensures the highest return. The specifics of the company “Baltic Candles” should be noted that in the production process – the production of candles is consumed and a large amount of thermal energy is used. The heat released during the production process is also used for production space heating in the building, which is part of the project’s production process; moreover, there is more decorative candles produced here, which means that more employees are involved in the production process, so the implementation of the project will promote not only the use of efficient energy resources and the reduction of consumption, but also improve the working conditions of employees. The project is planned to be implemented by mid-2020. The project has two activities: Project management (outsourcing) and construction works. Projekta mērķis ir veikt energoefektivitātes pasākumus ražošanas ēkā Uzvaras ielā 16 - jumta siltināšanu, lai veicinātu efektīvu energoresursu izmantošanu. Uzņēmums ir veicis visaptverošu energoauditu un noteicis virkni pasākumu, kurus varētu veikt. Šie pasākumi ietver energoefektivitātes pasākumus un investīcijas gan ēku norobežojošās konstrukcijās, gan ražošanas tehnoloģijas. Tas ir visaptverošs plāns un ieteikumu saraksts visam uzņēmumam. Visu ieteikumu ieviešana ir finansiāli ietilpīga, tādēļ energoaudita ieteikumus plāno ieviest pakāpeniski, sākot ar prioritārāko, kas nodrošina vislielāko atdevi. Jāatzīmē uzņēmuma "Baltic Candles" specifika, ka ražošanas procesā - sveču ražošana tiek patērēts un izmantots liels daudzums siltumenerģijas. Siltums, kas izdalās ražošanas procesā, papildus tiek izmantots ari ražošanas telpu apsildei Ēkā, kuru ietver projekts notiek ražošanas process, turklāt šeit ražo vairāk dekoratīvās sveces un tas nozīmē, ka ražošanas procesā iesaistīti vairāk darbinieku, līdz ar to projekta īstenošana veicinās ne tikai mērķa - efektīva energoresursu izmantošanu un patēriņa samazināšanu, bet uzlabos arī darbinieku darba apstākļus. Projektu plāno īstenot līdz 2020. gada vidum. Projektam paredzētas divas aktivitātes: projektu vadība (ārpakalpojums) un būvniecības darbi. Projekta rezultātā enerģijas ietaupījums 127.767 MWh/gadā.
