JSC “Stora Enso Latvija” started its activities in 2001 and its main direction is woodworking – the production of wood products, which result from the wood processing process from log to production of specific end products (sawn timber). The company is also active in supplying raw materials to Stora Enso Group’s companies in Finland, Sweden and the Baltic States, organising logs and logs transport, purchasing and selling logs and other wood products on both local and export markets In accordance with the statistical classification of NACE Rev. 2, the company’s economic activity corresponds to Code 16.10 “Sawning, planing and impregnation”.The project applicant has carried out its economic activities at the site of the project – “Krogzemes”, Lrogzemes, Launkali. The property rights of both the land and its existing buildings are enshrined in the Land Register as the property of the JSC Stora Enso Latvija, and the project applicant plans to continue active economic activity in the same place after the project has been implemented. As Stora Enso Latvija complies with the definition of large merchant set out in Article 2(8) of Commission Regulation No.800/2008.The aim of the project is to promote efficient use of energy resources, reduction of energy consumption and transition to renewable energy resources in the manufacturing sector – wood processing by carrying out complex solutions for energy efficiency in the company’s production process.The project is planned to be implemented in the company’s property with unit cadastra nr. 9470 010 0031, the production building corresponds to the building classification code 1251 “Industrial Production Buildings”. The main activities of the project to increase the energy efficiency of the production process are four – improvement of the logs industrial peeling process, modernisation of the quality control process of sawn timber, replacement of compressed air compressor and improvement of the industrial process of drying sawn timber. It is also envisaged to replace the existing lighting to LED luminaires in the manufacturing building.The project has the highest degree of maturity of the project.Project implementation time: Until 4 September 2019 (indicative 18 months).The eligible costs of the project: EUR 443074.13, CF co-financing requested: EUR 132922.24 (with aid intensity – 30 %).The energy efficiency measures taken as a result of the project will reduce energy consumption by 620.81 MWh/year or 23.42 % of the total amount of energy consumed by the company in industrial processes, reaching the project’s eligible cost ratio to the planned energy savings of energy efficiency – 0.0739. 67,67 tonnes of CO2 equivalent/year. Tāpat uzņēmums nodarbojas ar Stora Enso grupas Somijas, Zviedrijas un Baltijas sabiedrību apgādi ar izejmateriāliem, mežistrādes un apaļkoku transporta organizēšanu, apaļkoku un citu koksnes produktu sagādi un realizāciju gan vietējā, gan eksporta tirgosAtbilstoši NACE 2.red. statistiskajai klasifikācijai, uzņēmuma saimnieciskā darbība atbilst 16.10.kodam „ Zāģēšana, ēvelēšana un impregnēšana”.Projekta iesniedzējs kopš dibināšanas savu saimniecisko darbību veic projekta īstenošanas vietā – „Krogzemji”, Launkalnes pagastā, Smiltenes novadā. Gan zemes, gan uz tās esošo ēku īpašumtiesības ir nostiprinātas zemesgrāmatā kā AS Stora Enso Latvija īpašums, un projekta iesniedzējs pēc projekta īstenošanas plāno turpināt aktīvu saimniecisko darbību tajā pašā vietā. AS Stora Enso Latvija atbilst lielā komersanta definīcijai, kas noteikta Komisijas regulas nr.800/2008 2.panta 8.punktā.Projekta mērķis ir veicināt efektīvu energoresursu izmantošanu, enerģijas patēriņa samazināšanu un pāreju uz atjaunojamiem energoresursiem apstrādes rūpniecības nozarē – kokapstrādē, veicot kompleksus risinājumus energoefektivitātes celšanā uzņēmuma ražošanas procesā.Projektu plānots īstenot uzņēmuma īpašumā ar vienoto kadastra nr. 9470 010 0031, ražošanas ēka atbilst būvju klasifikācijas kodam 1251 “Rūpnieciskās ražošanas ēkas”. Projekta galvenās darbības ražošanas procesa energoefektivitātes celšanai ir četras – apaļkoku rūpnieciskā mizošanas procesa uzlabošana, saražotās zāģmateriālu kvalitātes kontroles procesa modernizācija, saspiestā gaisa kompresora nomaiņa un zāģmateriālu kaltēšanas rūpnieciskā procesa uzlabošana. Tāpat paredzēta esošā apgaismojuma nomaiņa uz LED gaismekļiem ražošanas ēkā.Projektam ir nodrošināta augstākā projekta gatavības pakāpe.Projekta īstenošanas laiks: līdz 2019.gada 4.septembrim (indikatīvi 18 mēneši).Projekta attiecināmās izmaksas: 443,074.13 EUR, pieprasītais KF līdzfinansējums: 132,922.24 EUR (ar atbalsta intensitāti – 30%).Projekta rezultātā veiktie energoefektivitātes pasākumi ļaus samazināt enerģijas patēriņu par 620,81 MWh/gadā jeb par 23,42 % no kopējā uzņēmuma rūpnieciskajos procesos enerģijas patērētā enerģijas daudzuma, sasniedzot projekta attiecināmās izmaksu koeficientu pret energoefektivitātes plānoto iegūto enerģijas ietaupījumu – 0,0739.Aprēķinātais siltumnīcefekta gāzu samazinājums: 67,67 CO2 ekvivalenta tonnas / gadā.
