The project is intended to study the design, synthesis and catalytic applications of frustrated Louis acid pairs (FLP)-based chiral catalysts. A number of cheap and easily accessible base compounds are offered for further modification and development. In the synthetic schemes shown, several possible molecular modification points are successfully used, allowing libraries to quickly create this connection. The project will explore the proposed use of the chiral, bi-functional FLP in enantioselective transformations, identifying their potential use in the synthesis of enantio-enriched complex molecules. As compounds of this class are easier to obtain and cheaper than the transition metal element compounds used in the current chiral catalysis, they have a very high potential for use.It is also planned to explore the use of the resulting new chiral catalysts in enentioselective Ireland-Claisen (IC) reactions. The plans are 2 project actions:1.Hiral FLP synthesis, initial assessment and synthesis of the connection library;2. According to NACE classification, the project will be implemented in the field of “M72.19 Other research and experimental development in natural sciences and engineering”, according to OECD classification – 1.Nature sciences – 1.4. Chemical Science. The results of the project are to be summarised in reports and a library of connection (catalysers) will be created. The duration of the project is 30 months (1 April 2019-30 September 2021).Total eligible costs EUR 128802.24, of which ERDF funding is EUR 109481.90.The project was initially submitted to the “Horizon 2020” sub-programme of Marie Skłodowska-Cirie scholarships European Fellowship. Šajā projektā plānots pētīt uz frustrated Luisa skābju pāru (FLP) bāzētu hirālu katalizatoru dizainu, sintēzi un katalītisko pielietojumu. Tiek piedāvāti vairāki lēti un viegli pieejami bāzes savienojumi tālākai modificēšanai un attīstībai. Parādītajās sintētiskajās shēmās tiek veiksmīgi izmantoti vairāki iespējamie molekulu modificēšanas punkti, kas ļauj ātri izveidot šo savienojumu bibliotēkas. Projektā tiks pētīts piedāvāto hirālo, bifunkcionālo FLP pielietojums enantioselektīvās transformācijās, nosakot to potenciālo pielietojumu enantio-bagātinātu sarežģītu molekulu sintēzē.
