(Swedish)

The project intends to contribute to increased growth of small and medium-sized food companies in the Västra Götaland region through the availability of skills development efforts. The application builds on previous regional fund-funded feasibility study. The food accelerator has been run since 2014 at SP Food & Bioscience with the aim of stimulating sustainable growth in the food sector in the region. Through the project, the activities will be further developed to include needs-driven skills development aimed at several companies in the target group at the same time. The focus is on skills-enhancing efforts in the identified needs of digitalisation, communication and exports. New needs analyses are also planned to be carried out in the latter part of the project, in order to capture the future needs of the food sector in a long-term perspective. (English)
