O lugar de Alcorochel é servido por rede de drenagem sem que seja proporcionado tratamento adequado por inexistência de ETAR. Pretende-se construir uma ETAR, dois sistemas elevatórios e colectores para articulação das novas infraestruturas com as existentes. Será assim atingido um sistema adequado de recolha, drenagem e tratamento das águas residuais, reduzindo a poluição urbana na massa de água associada ao sistema (Rio Alviela - PT05TEJ0970).
