Projekt sleduje několik cílů. Prvním je posílení spolupráce národní a evropské technologické platformy formou aktivnější účasti zástupců národní platformy v realizovaných aktivitách platformy evropské. Druhým cílem je definice perspektivních oblastí technologického rozvoje textilního průmyslu ČR (navazuje na již zpracované strategické dokumenty TOP ČR - Strategické výzkumné agendy a Implementačního akčního plánu).
