In order to ensure the safety of the homeless people covered by the project, the task of preparing places for evacuation of the Homeless House and a place for isolation for homeless people from public spaces was planned. In order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, it was also envisaged to equip the facilities covered by the project with equipment and protection measures to combat or counteract the effects of the pandemic, as well as to carry out COVID-19 tests. The target groups of the project are residents of care institutions: 24-hour facilities, day-care facilities, dependent persons using care services in their place of residence, homeless persons and staff of the above-mentioned facilities, in particular those working in direct contact with the ward. The effect of the project will be to increase the safety of staff and social assistance facilities, in which the implementation of the project guarantees the highest possible level of security and ensures business continuity and an adequate level of services provided. The project results in the number of people supported to combat or counter the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic: 1103 persons (546 residents + 557 people receiving support in their place of residence). Celem projektu jest zwiększenie doraźnej ochrony życia i zdrowia pensjonariuszy i pracowników placówek świadczących usługi opiekuńcze w mieście Elbląg w sytuacji pandemii COVID-19.
