    Projekt polega na zwiększeniu możliwości przeciwdziałania rozprzestrzenianiu się epidemii wirusa SARS-CoV-2 oraz innych chorób zakaźnych poprzez doposażenie w niezbędną aparaturę, sprzęt medyczny oraz środki do dezynfekcji oddziałów szpitalnych oraz pracowni diagnostycznych Centrum Pulmonologii i Torakochirurgii w Bystrej, będącego specjalistycznym ośrodkiem medycznym zabezpieczającym potrzeby mieszkańców regionu śląskiego w zakresie kompleksowego diagnozowania i leczenia chorób płuc, w tym nowotworów płuc. W szczególności projekt ukierunkowany jest na walkę z koronawirusem SARS-CoV-2 wywołującym chorobę COVID-19 w związku z jego pojawieniem się na terenie województwa śląskiego. Interwencja podejmowana w ramach projektu wynika z aktualnej sytuacji epidemiologicznej i jest skierowana na poprawę sytuacji zdrowotnej mieszkańców regionu. (Polish)

    The project consists of increasing the possibility of counteracting the spread of SARS-CoV-2 virus epidemic and other infectious diseases by equipping with the necessary equipment, medical equipment and means to disinfect hospital wards and diagnostic laboratories of the Pulmonology and Torakosurgery Center in Bystra, which is a specialised medical centre covering the needs of residents of the Silesian region in terms of comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of lung diseases, including lung cancer. In particular, the project targets the fight against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus causing the COVID-19 disease due to its emergence in the Silesian Voivodeship. The project’s intervention is due to the current epidemiological situation and is aimed at improving the health situation of the inhabitants of the region. (English)
