The main objective of the project, which is part of the Low-Emission Economy Plan for the Municipality of Rudnik, is to reduce final energy consumption by increasing energy efficiency and introducing modern solutions for street lighting. This will be achieved by carrying out activities involving the construction (installation of new LED luminaires on existing poles) of 107 luminaires, including: 93 pieces in Płonka and 14 in Majdan Łuczycki, together with the installation of intelligent control systems in cabinets at energy measurement points. The system will be equipped with the most energy-efficient light sources, based on LED semiconductor sources, with variable load profile. Control in astronomical clocks and network parameters analysis. The implementation of the project will contribute to adapting the quality of light to the space, reducing energy consumption costs and implementing environmentally friendly lighting by reducing carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere. The target group of the project, which will benefit directly from the implementation of the project at the level of its implementation, are residents of the Municipality of Rudnik, nearby municipalities as well as tourists visiting the Municipality. The construction/assembly of luminaires will increase the attractiveness and competitiveness of the region, will have a positive impact on improving road safety by increasing the visibility of traffic participants. The benefits of the project will also be noticeable at the natural level. The project will also contribute to improving the living conditions of residents by reducing gas emissions. Key results of the project will include: — Estimated annual decrease in greenhouse gas emissions of 18.85 tonnes/year. Therefore, the project will contribute to a reduction of CO2 emissions within one year of the completion of the project by more than 30 % compared to the year before the start of the project.
