Modern Food Sp. z o.o. Sp.k. operates in the area of gastronomy, so it was very severely affected by negative economic consequences due to the emergence of COVID-19. In connection with the Ordinance of the Minister of Health concerning the announcement of an epidemic emergency in the Republic of Poland, on 14 March this year our three restaurants operated by the company were closed. The immediate result was a loss on fresh goods (with very short shelf life (meat, fish, vegetables, herbs), the issue is exacerbated by the introduction of the regulation before the weekend, when restaurants are treated to the maximum limits. The direct loss is PLN 23562,70 net. The sudden closure resulted in the loss of customers and a fall in turnover to almost zero until delivery contracts were signed. The company operates South American restaurants, a sharp increase in the exchange rate of EUR, USD increased the prices of used exotic products. In addition, due to the global pandemic, freight routes have been completely broken, further increasing prices beyond the exchange differences specific to the initial period. Fixed costs characteristic of gastronomy remained high, i.e. renting premises, supplies of utilities, licenses for software used in gastronomy, etc. The lack of customers caused a disturbance of the financial liquidity of the company as well as payment congestion. The company’s current needs are to regain full liquidity and sales levels specific to the months of the second half of the year, to rebuild the financial reserve. The support received under the programme will be devoted to the maintenance of jobs, the restoration of initial employment conditions over the next year. Fall in sales April R/R 80 % Fall number of customers 95 % between 14 March – 18 May (English) | |||||||||||||||

Firma Modern Food Sp. z o.o. Strata bezpośrednia to 23562,70 zł netto. Nagłe zamknięcie, spowodowało ponadto utratę klientów, spadek obrotów niemalże do zera do czasu podpisania umów o dostawy.
