Předmětem projektu ChemBioDrug je špičkový problémově orientovaný výzkum, jehož účelem je vývoj nových potenciálních terapeutik rakoviny, virových onemocnění a metabolických poruch na principu specifické inhibice tzv. undruggable interakcí biomakromolekul, na které klasická medicinální chemie nedosáhne. Podmínkou je soustředění excelentních kapacit ÚOCHB (Centra) v multidisciplinárním projektovém týmu, jeho další rozvoj, doplnění klíčového vybavení a posílení mezinárodní výzkumné spolupráce. a.
