EU L 187/1 of 26.06.2014).The aim of the project is to develop a new product – an adaptive Hear Box screening and diagnostic system for independent hearing tests in a room with different, variable acoustics. The project plans to carry out the following tasks: Step 1: Characterisation tests and development of models of background noise during the hearing test, occurring in different rooms, Stage 2: Development of a stand for self-testing and evaluation of hearing processing using a prototype device with algorithms based on active noise abatement methods. Step 3: Comparative studies of various methods of active noise elimination and assessment of the impact of these methods on the possibility of performing a reliable hearing threshold test in places with an increased acoustic background level. Step 4: Evaluation of the operation of the system under laboratory conditions. Step 5: Testing of the device in the target technology under real-world conditions. The result of the project will be an adaptive Hear Box screening and diagnostic system with key functionalities that are not available in the solutions offered by competitors: The possibility of self-testing by the patient, in the field of hearing tests, as well as hearing attention in the screening or diagnostic version, which eliminates the need for personnel to operate the audiometer. An adaptive method to reduce acoustic background noise, which eliminates the need to perform tests in a specially muted room. Automatic calibration of dedicated headphones. (English)

SA.41471(2015/X) Przeznaczenie_pomocy_publicznej: art. 25 rozporządzenia KE nr 651/2014 z dnia 17 czerwca 2014 r. uznające niektóre rodzaje pomocy za zgodne z rynkiem wewnętrznym w stosowaniu art. 107 i 108 Traktatu (Dz. Urz. UE L 187/1 z 26.06.2014).Celem Projektu jest opracowanie nowego produktu - adaptacyjnego systemu przesiewowo-diagnostycznego Hear Box do samodzielnych badań słuchu w pomieszczeniu o różnej, zmiennej akustyce. W Projekcie zaplanowano realizację poniższych zadań: Etap 1: Badania charakterystyki oraz opracowanie modeli hałasów tła podczas badania słuchu, występujących w różnych pomieszczeniach, Etap 2: Opracowanie stanowiska do samodzielnego badania słuchu i oceny przetwarzania słuchowego z wykorzystaniem prototypu urządzenia posiadającego algorytmy oparte na aktywnych metodach redukcji hałasu. Etap 3: Badania porównawcze różnych metod aktywnej eliminacji hałasu i ocena wpływu tych metod na możliwości wykonania wiarygodnego badania progowego słuchu w miejscach o podwyższonym poziomie tła akustycznego. Etap 4: Ocena działania systemu w warunkach laboratoryjnych. Etap 5: Badanie urządzenia wykonanego w technologii docelowej w warunkach rzeczywistych. (Polish)
