A implantação do Projecto visa recuperar e melhorar espaços florestais na AIE L-P, pois estes têm uma grande valia para espécies de flora ameaçadas. É importante o reordenamento da rede de caminhos, como meio de salvaguarda destes espaços e da sua protecção contra incêndios.No CEAM (Olhão) far-se-á uma reabilitação das áreas florestais e agrícolas resultando uma melhoria dos habitats associados e do seu valor enquanto áreas demonstrativas.
