Úkolem projektu je inspirovat veřejnost skladováním elektrické energie. Globálně je potřeba snižovat emise skleníkových plynů, proto je nutné ustupovat od paliv fosilních a získávat energií ekologičtějším způsobem. Dostupným řešením jsou alternativní zdroje energie, které ovšem mají nevýhodu, že se nedají (kromě vodních a přečerpávacích elektráren) použít ve špičkách.
