Propõe-se a implementação da estratégia de Seleção Genómica nos campos experimentais em Elvas, envolvendo linhas avançadas de melhoramento de trigo que serão fenotipadas em relação a características de produção e resistência a stresses e genotipadas por sequenciação massiva (GBS). A unidade de bioinformática e modelação determinará o Valor de Melhoramento Genómico Estimado (GEBV) que será utilizado para acelerar a obtenção de novas variedades. (Portuguese)

It is proposed to implement the Genomic Selection strategy in the experimental fields in Elvas, involving advanced wheat improvement lines that will be phenotyped in relation to production characteristics and stress resistance and massive sequencing genotyped (GBS). The bioinformatics and modeling unit will determine the Estimated Genomic Improvement Value (GEBV) that will be used to accelerate the acquisition of new varieties. (English)
