Este projecto pretende apoiar a gestão/crescimento sustentado do mergulho com tubarões/jamantas nos Açores. Combinaremos uma abordagem analítica e experimental, modelação de dados de pescas e telemetria, observação e marcação com tecnologia de ponta. Em parceria com a indústria faremos uma avaliação do potencial de novos locais de mergulho. Finalmente serão propostas medidas de gestão acompanhadas da projecção de impactes socioeconómicos.
