Ο Δήμος Βριλησσίων θεωρεί την ενεργειακή αναβάθμιση των κτιρίων του στόχο υψηλής προτεραιότητας ο οποίος ανταποκρίνεται στην ευρωπαϊκή πολιτική για την ενέργεια και συμβάλει στην αντιμετώπιση της ενεργειακής φτώχειας, στην περιβαλλοντική βιωσιμότητα, στη βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη και στην κοινωνική ευημερία.Η παρούσα πράξη που έχει τίτλο «ΕΠΕΜΒΑΣΕΙΣ ΕΝΕΡΓΕΙΑΚΗΣ ΑΝΑΒΑΘΜΙΣΗΣ ΣΧΟΛΙΚΩΝ ΚΤΙΡΙΩΝ ΔΗΜΟΥ ΒΡΙΛΗΣΣΙΩΝ» έχει ως στόχο την ενεργειακή αναβάθμιση του 1ου Γυμνασίου και του 1ου Λύκειο Βριλησσίων.Η επιλογή των συγκεκριμένων κτιρίων έγινε με κριτήρια που σχετίζονται με τα χαρακτηριστικά και τους στόχους της Πρόσκλησης, με το ύψος των ενεργειακών του καταναλώσεων, με πλήθος των μαθητών και εκπαιδευτικών και με τη βελτίωση των συνθηκών άνεσης, ασφάλειας και υγιεινής για την εκπαιδευτική και κάθε άλλη δραστηριότητα της σχολικής κοινότητας σε αυτό.Οι παρεμβάσεις ενεργειακής αναβάθμισης που θα γίνουν στο κτίριο στο πλαίσιο της πράξης περιλαμβάνουν μεταξύ άλλων: Αντικαταστάσεις κουφωμάτων και θερμοϋγρομονώσεις του κελύφους Αναβάθμιση των εγκαταστάσεων ψύξης θέρμανσης Αντικατάσταση φωτιστικών σωμάτων με φωτιστικά σώματα LED Εγκατάσταση φωτοβολταϊκών συστημάτων.
