Το έργο αφορά την προμήθεια κάδων για την προώθηση της οικιακής κομποστοποίησης. Ο Δήμος Χίου στην προσπάθεια του για ορθή διαχείρισης των βιοαποβλήτων, προωθεί τη μείωσης της ποσότητας των παραγόμενων αποβλήτων, την αύξηση της επαναχρησιμοποίησης, την ανακύκλωση και ανάκτηση υλικών καθώς και τη δραστική μείωση των βιοαποβλήτων που οδηγούνται προς ταφή. Για το σκοπό αυτό προχωρεί στην προμήθεια κάδων κομποστοποίησης κήπου και κάδων καμποστοποίησης «μπαλκονιού» για την προώθηση της οικιακής κομποστοποίησης. Οι κάδοι θα διατεθούν δωρεάν κατόπιν πρότερης εκδήλωσης ενδιαφέροντος από τους κατοίκους. (Greek)
