The object of the project is the energy upgrading of the municipal building “Androgeo” of the Municipality of Heraklion of Crete, built 1986-1988. The building operates throughout the year with differentiated hours, depending on the use of administrative offices, multi-space culture and event hall, and is characterised as moderate in terms of energy efficiency, mainly due to the external masonry of about 30 cm thick, the absence of thermal insulation and the age of its electromechanical installations. The interventions planned to be implemented in the context of the project concern:- The reduction of thermal losses and cooling charges through the thermal insulation of the shell and the roof and the replacement of external frames with new high energy efficiency, with double glazing.- The reduction of energy consumption, the replacement of the lighting with new LED technology, the upgrading of the air-ventilation system with the use of metering pumps of the air-water system and the installation of lighting in the building. Αντικείμενο του έργου έιναι η ενεργειακή αναβάθμιση του Δημοτικού κτιρίου «ΑΝΔΡΟΓΕΩ» του Δήμου Ηρακλείου Κρήτης, κατασκευής 1986-1988. Το κτίριο λειτουργεί όλο τον χρόνο με διαφοροποιημένο ωράριο, ανάλογα τις χρήσεις λειτουργίας των γραφείων διοικητικών υπηρεσιών, του πολυχώρου πολιτισμού και της αίθουσας εκδηλώσεων, και χαρακτηρίζεται ως μέτριο από άποψη ενεργειακής απόδοσης, λόγω κυρίως της εξωτερικής τοιχοποιίας πάχους περίπου 30 εκατοστών, της απουσίας θερμομόνωσης και της παλαιότητας των ηλεκτρομηχανολογικών του εγκαταστάσεων. Οι παρεμβάσεις που προβλέπεται να υλοποιηθούν στο πλαίσιο του έργου αφορούν:- Στη μείωση των θερμικών απωλειών και των ψυκτικών φορτίων μέσω της θερμομόνωσης του κελύφους και του δώματος και της αντικατάστασης των εξωτερικών κουφωμάτων με νέα υψηλής ενεργειακής απόδοσης, με διπλούς υαλοπίνακες.- Στη μείωση της κατανάλωσης ενέργειας, με την αντικατάσταση των φωτιστικών με νέας τεχνολογίας τύπου LED, την αναβάθμιση του συστήματος κλιματισμού - αερισμού με τη χρήση αντλιών θερμότητας αέρα - νερού και την εγκατάσταση φωτοβολταϊκού συστήματος στο δώμα του κτιρίου, με ενεργειακό συμψηφισμό (net metering).
