The project aims at harmonising family and professional life in the Region of Attica and concerns the provision to beneficiaries (women and men who have child custody), a position to care for and hosting infants, infants and children with disabilities, public and private Childcare Centres and Creative Employment Centres for Children with Disabilities (CDA MEA) for the school year 2019-2020. The project contributes to maintaining and increasing the employment of the beneficiaries, from families with incomes below the poverty line, in jobs on equal terms, so that, through their substantial ease by partially decoupling from the care of their children, they can respond to the demanding and significantly conflicting roles of work and family care and child protection of children with disabilities. The distribution of the position to each beneficiary is realised through the “value of placement” (voucher) of his/her child, received from the Hellenic Society of Local Development and Government (EETA SA), as defined in a relevant Call for an Event of Interest.
