Αντικείμενο του έργου είναι η δημιουργία Δομής Κέντρου Κοινότητας στον Δήμο Γαλατσίου. Στόχος της λειτουργίας της Δομής είναι η ανάπτυξη ενός τοπικού σημείου αναφοράς για την υποδοχή, την εξυπηρέτηση και τη διασύνδεση των πολιτών με όλα τα κοινωνικά προγράμματα και υπηρεσίες στην περιοχή του Δήμου Γαλατσίου. Το Κέντρο Κοινότητας του Δήμου Γαλατσίου το οποίο θα εποπτεύεται από την κοινωνική υπηρεσία του δήμου, θα παρέχει τις ακόλουθες υπηρεσίες: A) Υποδοχή Ενημέρωση Υποστήριξη των πολιτών Β) Συνεργασία με Υπηρεσίες και Δομές Γ) Παροχή υπηρεσιών που θα αποσκοπούν στη βελτίωση του βιοτικού επιπέδου και θα διασφαλίζουν την κοινωνική ένταξη των ωφελουμένων. Το Κέντρο μέσω παραπομπών διασυνδέει τα ωφελούμενα άτομα πολίτες του Δήμου Γαλατσίου με επιμέρους φορείς και υπηρεσίες (υπηρεσίες ΟΤΑ, δημόσιες υπηρεσίες, εθελοντικές οργανώσεις, οργανισμούς κοινωνικού χαρακτήρα κ.λπ.) για την εξυπηρέτηση των αναγκών τους.
