    Στόχος του έργου είναι η αποκατάσταση και ανάδειξη του συγκροτήματος των Ενετικών Ναυπηγείων των Γουβιών της Κέρκυρας, τα μοναδικά που διατηρούνται στο Ιόνιο. Το συγκρότημα χρονολογείται τον 18 αιώνα και είναι κηρυγμένο ως ιστορικό διατηρητέο με την Υπουργική Απόφαση (ΥΑ) 12524/9-12-64 (ΦΕΚ 38/Β/19-1-65). Από το 2009 έχουν ενταχθεί στο Δίκτυο των Ιστορικών Ναυπηγείων της Μεσογείου. Με την υλοποίηση του έργου θα καταστεί επισκέψιμος ο αρχαιολογικός χώρος και θα αποδοθεί στο κοινό, αφού θα έχουν αντιμετωπιστεί τα προβλήματα στατικότητας, ρηγματώσεων και αποστράγγισης που παρουσιάζει το μνημείο. The complex dates back to the 18th century and is declared historically preserved by Ministerial Decision 12524/9-12-64 (Government Gazette 38/B/19-1-65). Since 2009 they have joined the Network of Historical Shipyards in the Mediterranean. With the implementation of the project, the archaeological site will be visited and it will be attributed to the public, since the problems of staticity, cracks and drainage presented by the monument will have been addressed.
