Σκοπός του έργου είναι η ενεργειακή αναβάθμιση (κατά τουλάχιστον δύο ενεργειακές κατηγορίες) δημοτικού κτιρίου στην Καρύταινα Αρκαδίας και η ανάπτυξη περιβαλλοντικής ευαισθητοποίησης των μαθητών και της τοπικής κοινωνίας. Οι εργασίες που θα πραγματοποιηθούν αφορούν: α) Αντικατάσταση κουφωμάτων με ξύλινα ενεργειακά υαλοστάσια, β) Θερμική μόνωση στέγης, γ) Θερμομόνωση κτιρίου (εσωτερικά), δ) Αντικατάσταση των διάσπαρτων αντλιών θερμότητας και του λέβητα με κεντρική αντλία, ε) Αντικατάσταση των λαμπτήρων με νέους εξοικονόμησης ενέργειας τύπου LED.
